Airtel new plan of Rs 448 counter to Jio Rs 399 plan

Airtel recently offers a new plan for its customers. The new plan is of Rs 448,which offers 1GB data per day for 70 days, which is only for its prepaid customers said Telecom Talk. This new tariff plan directly counter Jio's Rs 399 plan, which was recently offered by Jio.From this plan it is declared that Airtel is leaving no srone unturned to counter Reliance Jio.

With the Rs 448 tariff plan, Airtel’s prepaid subscribers will get 1GB 3G or 4G data per day for 70 days, meaning a total of 70GB data for the period. Once you exceed your 1GB per day quota, the data speed will drop to 64 kbps. Airtel is also offering unlimited voice calls including voice and roaming calls. However, voice calls are limited to 300 minutes per day and 1200 minutes per week. In addition, the plan offers free 100 sms per day.

Comparing this plan to Reliance Jio’s Rs. 399 plan, it also gives unlimited voice calls without any limit, 1GB data per day whose speed will be reduced to 64 Kbps, and unlimited SMS. That said, Jio’s Rs. 399 plan is also valid for 70 days. Jio’s plan also comes bundled with a premium subscription for Jio apps such as JioCinema, JioTV, JioMusic, etc.

So, both the plans from Airtel and Jio offer similar benefits, but Airtel’s plan is slightly costly than the Jio plan and also limits the voice calls. However, having such plan from Airtel give a huge bonus for the customers.
